Not to be Gatiscel but growing long hair and hairmaxxing is insanely OP for SMV lol. Lots of guys sleep on this nowadays and 80-90% of young guys have fade haircut variations. Looks NPC and boring. Growing longer hair is super low effort high ROI, assuming you got genetics for it. If you want a "short hair silhouette" just tie it up and you get hair with more volume, fluff and presence than any other haircut/hairstyle lol, plus you can still hair product that shit for even more volume.

Never encountered a woman that didn't love long hair. Gatis, Selfmaxxer are right when they say long hair is insane OP. I also feel like I had insane success and rise in my SMV from having long hair and I tie it up most of the time. Long hair mogs and makes you stand out from normie NPCs. Not trashing on guys with fade haircuts especially younger ones with peer pressure + parents forcing them to cut their hair but I really recommend trying long hair at least once. Worst case scenario you can just cut it and go back to having a NPC hairstyle.

My goal is having butt-length hair currently and just mog even harder with my hair and have even more insane volume, fatter buns and big fat thick cable braids and hair I can drape over my girl. I rarely see a man with long hair actually look good, its mostly fat sub5 metalheads with ugly makeup frauded """goth""" girls, weird hipster creeps and ugly gymcels with viking buns.
I also dont really like the volume fluff look at all, when I straighten my wavy hair, the longer part I have in the back reaches just below my bottom rib in the front, but I usually keep most of my hair tucked behind my ears so it doesnt hide my face and it stays in the front. If I keep it untucked with its full volume it messes with my shoulder proportions and makes my silhouette less defined imo. Well I guess it is for tastes but I love ridiculous volume on my own hair type. Yeah the black guy maybe could benefit from some pomade-wax to bring down volume a bit.

Personally volume for me just balances out my longer narrow face type I think and it just helps show off its insane coarse and dense properties. It is kind of like showing off/bragging visually with my hair. I don't like my hair as much or the look when it is flat. I love volume bombs due to how ridiculous it looks in a good/mogging way.

You mean if it starts showing wear/damage, tapering etc? Yes then I agree, but if someone got insane hair genetics resilient to wear then it should still be liable to look insane. But if you can't reach a certain length with good quality and fullness then you should cut to the point where you still have it. So far at my current lengths I have zero issues like that, I will keep growing it as long as I can while maintaining quality. Maybe I can never reach waist-length but we will see. Also depends on anagen length some just can't reach that length even if they try because it is too short.

I have been thinking about this a lot and realize long hair requires good hair genetics as a man, far from everyone can do it especially as adult, but if you can you have a massive "peacock" effect advantage, being able to display your good hair genetics to other foids and your surroundings. Feels like a shame to waste it away IF you are one of the guys blessed this way.

Of course I personally was blessed with extreme hair genetics in terms of properties but I wasted almost all my life never letting those be at display.
