yes, quite good but expensive.

there is eyelid tape and also eyelid glue. i recommend checking reddit for some good recommendations and buying it, alongside with some makeup remover to properly remove it. will set you back 30 bucks max

ngl the number of oculoplastic surgeons who end up fucking up ptosis surgery is unbelievable. it seems to be a ridiculously fine art.

i went to an oculoplastic surgeon once the day before surgery for an in-person examination and she wasn't sure she could even diagnose me with ptosis but wanted to do the operation anyways in case there was an improvement. safe to say i cancelled lol.

It's something they should know as it is the most basic principle of oculoplastics - Hering's Law of Equal Innervation.

It just means that when one eyelid is droopy, the other one might be raised to compensate for it, or it might even affect the brows. They should account for it

Both eyelids are controlled together by the brain.
So if one droopy eyelid is lifted surgically, the other eyelid may drop because the brain reduces the effort to lift both.

i indeed saw quite some negative experiences with the surgery, making me question whether i should actually do it.

Have you fixed yours?

ahh, so if it would be fixed, it could mess with herings law?

Not yet, I'm planning to get it done at the same time as OD, and I'm still consulting for that.

Yeah, potentially. Competent surgeons have done enough surgeries to understand how this works and they can mitigate the chances of your ptosis coming back. There's always a chance of recurrence though and its worth asking your surgeon how often they experience it, if revisions are free, etc.

Upneeq and eyelid tape, I have the same but notice it gets worse if I consume excess salt, get poor sleep or I’m dehydrated

Yes Upneeq is the only FDA approved non surgical treatment for ptosis, eyelid tape can be cheaper and more effective but a pain to put on and ca be considered frauding, a years supply of Upneeq is like 2k honestly js save for surgery

So why did you choose upneeq over surgery?

Cuz I’m 17 and my finances are locked down cuz my chud dad found out I bought accutane from India, also my ptosis is only bad when I don’t take proper care

Ahh okay, could you share your taking care routine?

Have you used it? And where did you get it, or did you get a prescription
No, I have not. My eyes are fine.

I remember a user on here used it and documented his results. Just search it up, and you'll prob find it.

You require a prescription to get it, but you can just buy it online, preferably from Indiamart.
