To get addicted for starters you gotta have easy access to the drug, and then some kind of life circumstance or environment that spurs you into repeatedly taking it. Only then are you likely to use the drug long enough to get dependent, after which the addiction can be self sustaining.

I've had a mostly happy life and don't really know people who can get stuff, so the only times I've tried anything has mostly been on a whim.

If I were to rate #1 drugs it is opioids easily, those are high quality of life drugs and not even neurotoxic or damaging on the body. Other than being very physically addictive they are pretty good and safe if not overdosing to point of unconsciousness. Unfairly demonized as fuck and legal restrictions is what creates all junkie fuck heroin and fentanyl zombies that destroy them anyway. I am never touching street junk stuff.

It’s not extreme that’s why I’m not sure if I should bother or try to let it sort itself out. It’s like a few days of solid 8 hr sleep but then some nights of light few hours sleep
