My upper and lower jaws are recessed and I am a perfect bimax candidate.

But when I bring this up with my family, they are strongly against my surgery and don't care about my problems. They say, "Do whatever you want." My mom and dad say, "Are you going to break your jaw? How will it fit back in?" ı am don't want to live with a bad appearance. How can I convince them of this? Is there anyone else who has gone through the same thing as me?
