Has anyone been following the Jerdani Kraja paypal drama?

He had 103k in his paypal account and within an hour it all gets spent on conversion fees to various currencies (mostly Russian) until there's no money left
He calls paypal about it and they basically tell him they don't know what happened but they can't do anything to get it back
He gets CBS news to come do a segment with him and as paypal find out about this they call him to say that they can restore his money if he agrees to receive the money as a settlement (basically to keep his mouth shut)
He asks why the money has not yet been restored since they are capable of restoring it
Paypal calls CBS asking them not to run the story
Paypal restores the money
So paypal can just take 100k of your money, make it look like some "Russian Hacker" did it, then refuse to restore it unless you get the media involved

This just reminded me that when I was 17 I was being paid youtube money into my paypal account and my funds got frozen because I set it up as a personal account rather than a business one and they suspected me of money laundering
It was only about 2k over the course of 6 months so I could withdraw the money but could not use the account anymore
