Has anyone dyed their hair to be a slightly lighter hair color?

Like let's say you have dark brown hair, what if I dyed it to be a slightly lighter shade of brown?

yes and it looks like shit, im doing a repair treatment and dyeing it back dark. darker hair looks better because it increases perceived contrast

hmm your right it could be risky, however before puberty I had dark brown hair and now its dark dark brown, I still think its worth the risk because I then could just re-dye it back

if you want the color to look right, you will probably have to bleach it to blonde first. and that damages the hair a lot, its gonna be all dead and fried. i really dont reccomend ever dyeing your hair, because its almost impossible to reverse. just dont do it tbh

Only case scenario where it's a good idea is if it's wavy or curly cause it adds definition but if in other cases dark is better unless you have the pheno to be blond
