They protect you from the sun. They also give your face good lighting, which is a massive boost especially if you are like me and have eye bags and terrible nasolabial folds.
Also they can hide a shitty hairstyle.
Also hats look nice, I used to think caps look like shit but they really aren’t all that bad.
