perhaps there is a correlation between normal hair and good jobs- I’m not sure.

but guys with weird hair or weird facial hair or anything weird seems to lower the attractiveness of the girl with them.

Very true. Long hair is an absolute no no if you have dark hair and usually a fail with blond hair. Low fade on the side is compulsory for ethnics. Haircut needs to fit your face too.

As someone who has curly hair I had to shave it all off cause faded sides while the top grows looks utterly shit

I have to wait a whole year for it to grow all around, that’s probably your best option. If you don’t like how it looks in a year then do any additions

Right now my hair is pretty long all around, I haven't had a haircut in 6 months and I look horrible. I have an appointment with the best curly hair stylist in the city in a couple of weeks and I don't know what to tell her exactly.

The thing is that I don't know how my hair will grow if I do a taper/fade, I haven't had one of those since I was a kid, when I didn't even know that I had curly hair. Like you say, it may grow out in a messy way, so I would have to cut very frequently, which is expensive. I could try do it myself, but thats tricky so...

Sorry for the long post, right now my hair it's my biggest concern.

It's probably the most versatile hair length. Both short and long hair only look good if you have a masc face.
