First off I want to say that anyone who has good, true friends that enjoy hanging out with you should be extremely grateful.

Everyone on this forum talks about how bad it is to miss out on teen relationships/romance but no one talks about how awful it is to only have "school" friends which dont really enjoy spending time with you

Every day I hear about how they are hanging out each weekend and their plans without me and its like it doesnt even bother them to talk about it in front of me

And its not like they dislike me, we often have a good time together, but its like they just forget about me outside of school other than when they need something from me

I am sure I am not the only one in such a situation

I wish i had friends, my entire life Ive just been surrounding myself with a bunch of people to feel less left out and out of place but I still go days without being acknowledged or talked to, this loneliness is killing me

I was in a similar position a few months ago.

I started chilling w a chad status friend group last summer. By the time school came back around they clocked that i was nd and stopped inviting me places. Then when I hung out with them in school after about a month they basically said to my face I’m too awkward and they don’t want me hanging around them anymore. It’s not even their fault because now that I am nt I can pick up when others are socially underdeveloped like I was and it makes me cringe. It’s almost painful.

I had some classes with people in the group and began my year long NT transformation and they basically invited me back into the group. If your wondering before last summer I had a nerdy friend group that I didn’t like and they were just gay and dicks.

So I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum and I can confirm how brutal it is. I used to go home every lunchtime and come back to school in the afternoon for 7 months straight because I literally had no friends

have always been going through a similar situation, you're not alone bhai i think it's best if you completely cut them off instead of holding onto high expectations for them and waiting for them to eventually acknowledge your worth. when you're not desperately seeking friendships, you'll find them naturally coming your way

Sounds so amazing when put this way but realistically if I cut them off and "focus on my self" and other bluepill cope I will just spend the rest of high school alone
