At what point does height become a failo? Better said, what is the ideal height?

10 inches taller than the women is ideal. 11.5 inches taller than the average women in your country would be ideal, since rather be a bit taller than shorter if you were to meet a taller women

5'7 - 5'9: some will call you average, some will call you short but still it's a minor failo
5'10 and 5'11: average no halo no failo
6' and up: you'll be seen as the tall guy with minor halo
6'2+ huge halo

Yes, height matters a lot but some girls genuinely don’t care that much, especially if they are small themselves.

Good luck pulling anything if you’re hideous at any height.

I'm like 6'5 or 6'6. I think 6'2-6'4 is better for attracting women, but I wouldn't want to be shorter tbh. I love this height.

I've read a paper about how many men you'd compete against based on your height and the available pool of women willing to date you. I have no idea what the paper was called because I've read it years ago, but I think you might be able to find it with a bit of googling. I do remember its findings though.

Basically, for anything below 5'11 you'd face an enormous amount of competition. There was a stark decline of competition at 5'11 and the sweetspot was 6'-6'3, with 6'1-6'2 actually being tied for the least competition. 6'4 and up saw an increase in competition again as the pool of women willing to date a man with that height and up shrank. At 6'6 I believe you'd face the same amount of competitors as someone who was 5'11. And at no point did anything taller than 6'6 reach the amount of competition as 5'10.

Essentially, the least competition is around 6'-6'3 with a low point at 6'1/6'2 and the height halo more or less stops with 6'6, but it is always better to be even taller than to be 5'10 and smaller.
