Height reduced during slight cut??

So i’ve been eating very little lately cuz im trying to cut a bit. And i’ve been kinda starving for a few hours during the last days and when i measured my height i was ~2cm smaller. Not only on one day but i measured twice. Is it bc of me starving myself or just that throghout the day it’s normal for the height to vary a bit?? 17btw
