I am coming here to ask for financial help for him and his family following their eviction from their house in Los Angeles. Brendan, his mom Brenda and his dad Michael are in need of urgent help for their survival as they are going to be homeless in the near future, and need financial help to be able to survive. They need money to be able to cover the expanses for a shelter, and food so they can feed themselves. They also need money to cover Brenda medical expanses, as she is sick as she has a tumour on her spine and head, suspected to be autoimmune problem.
Brenda has multiples diagnosed issues DDD (Degenerate disc disease), lumbar, Osteoarthritis of the right hip, Multiple joint pain, Chronic Pain (pain 24/7), Trochanteric bursitis, right hip. She needs medical attention because of her chronic pain, and without a home and financial ressources, its very hard for her to get the healthcare she needs. As they are struggling for the minimum to live, Brenda cannot afford to go to a doctor.
Both of the family pets will be forced to be stray as they wont have a home, one of the cat, Violet will die if she doesn't find the care she needs. In order for their cat Violet to eat, she needs pain medication that needs to be refridgerated, and this will add additional financial burden that they can't afford. With all that's going on, the cats have nowhere to go and Brendan family is trying their hardest to avoid the worse.
Brendan family’s has been stuck with a shady landlord for years. Things came to a head recently with a legal battle that dragged on for almost the entire year. In that time, they lived with health and safety hazards: cold water, potential mold buildup, and who knows what else. The landlord ignored everything. Then they pulled some sneaky legal maneuvering. They set up a court case behind Brendan family backs in October but only delivered the summons in November, effectively robbing Brendan parents of their right to fight it. The court defaulted in the landlord’s favor, and now Brendan and his family have got an eviction notice as of Friday.
They timed it perfectly to screw them over too. The 5-day contest period was cut to 1-3 days because of the weekend. Unless Brendan family get an extension, they will be out on Wednesday.
To put it bluntly, Brendan has been hit from the fallout from two relationships, especially one individual who went out of their way to target him, caused years of damage that Brendan is still trying to fix. The blackmail, manipulation, and stolen money created a ripple effect, and now here he is. If it weren’t for all that, Brendan would still be stable like he was a few years ago, able to support his family including his sick mom and his pets who are going to be homeless.
Brendan and his family are already in financial ruin, and now they are on the brink of losing everything. Him and his family are trying to sell what they can, but time is running out. If anyone’s willing to help whether that’s financial support, advice, or just pointing them toward resources, Brendan and his family will appreciate it.
