Help me plan for jaw surgery

Hello everyone,

to keep things short I had an appoiment with an orthodontist and I‘m getting lefort, not sure of the details yet. I have an appointment tomorrow to discuss the plan, everything is getting covered by health insurance since i needed it anyways.

The question is how do I go about this as aesthetically as possible, I doubt Ill be getting a Lefort 2 but specifically should i ask for a high cut lefort 1? And where should I do the surgery? Also have seen people get botched. I have a barely noticeable underbite but my midface is quite flat and I am a bit recessed.

What do you guys think and what should I go for? Also going to have to wear braces for quite a while to prep for surgery.

I mean the hospital specifically, I can pick where. The overall plan including scans is tomorrow but where i ultimately decide to perform the surgery is my descision

random loooksmaxxers not gonna know your local surgeons just go into the searchbar and try to look for popular good surgeons on this forum. lurk on reddit for surgeons etc.

Obviously but the most important part isnt the actual surgeon (partially) but what i should try to go for for the best results
