Help with going from Curly to Wavy Hair

Already posted a thread on how I need help, but still have not come to a conclusion. This is a mild relaxer, but all the anecdotes I have seen are from super coily haired black women.

I currently have 3a - 3b curly hair and want to change it to around 2b - 2c wavy hair. My main concerns are: relaxing too much resulting in a very straight look rather than wavy as well as extreme hair damage.

Just looking for outside opinions.

I disagree especially with my hair style being a mod. I have been using a flat iron to relax it a little bit and it mogs.

relaxers literally destroy your folicles over time boyo better off sticking with natural hair texture and choosing a style that fits you based off it.
