Hey fellas, I tried microneedling with my derma pen today. my skin kinda moved with the pen so i stamped it along as i went instead of dragging. anyway heres what it looks like immediately after; does it look like i did it eight? doesnt look as damaged as some videos ive seen. did 1.5mm depth.

yea it can be quite red afterwards, mine usually fades after I sleep but others have it for like 2-3 days dont stress it too much

well ive done it 3 times now, but I would also recommend tret if ur not already on it for that anti aging but for now after microneedling just moisturize it gently and skip face products for a day or so (except moistiruzer)

well tret does take some time to work, you might wanna up the strength if ur on 0,025 for example but if ur already on like 0,05-0,1 for several months then yeah other ways might also be helpful

i think at home treatment might not be effective for you
more like a Co2 laser or radio frequency dermaneedling will be good

ive just leanred dairy can be bad for skin and i have a gallon of skim and 4 scoops of whey per day. so ive cut that out 💀 hopefully cutting that out and having a top notch care routine will be enough but if not i'll start doing the lasers. theyre just expensive af so id like to try other approaches first

yeah ofc do what you can at home first
lowdose accutane also mogs if you have the risk tolerance which i think you do

Possibly could see about adding it in. i hear the pores come back afterwards though right? i keep hearing mixed reviews on the long term effects
