I am 6 foot probably 240 pounds.
my question is, as long as you get your protein in do the calories really matter?
If I can hit 250 grams of protein a day and that's only 1,200 calories but to lose weight it's suggesting ~2,000 calories to lose weight and 2,500 to maintain my weight.
if you cut the calories back too much, your body starves, right?
1) to fill in those remaining 800 calories, it doesn't really matter where they come from right? For me, I like soda I would make all 800 calories soda.
2) do any of you restrict your sodium / salt intake? I know with higher salt, my body puffs up and when I restrict salt I lose water weight? Does salt matter?
