High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is a sweetener commonly found in processed foods and beverages. Recently on youtube I've seen some jewish corporations and fitness youthbers saying HFCS aren't bad. So let's just put this case to rest for good
It lead to higher obesity rates in multiple studies
Causes inflammation and cause heart diseases and even cancer
You'll often see these youtubers saying that it is not uniquely harmful compared to other added sugars and that you'll get similar problems if you overconsume other sugars which correct but one thing they conveniently miss out on is that it is very easy to overconsume HFCS
They also don't address the problem of HFCS being metabolized in the liver
Also it is found in every junk food that you eat
Conclusion-HFCS is poison full stop

It lead to higher obesity rates in multiple studies
Excessive consumption of HFCS increased fat production and reduced insulin sensitivity, factors that can contribute to obesity and metabolic syndrome.
Causes inflammation and cause heart diseases and even cancer
Diets high in HFCS were found to promote inflammation is associated with an elevated risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer

Fructose does not stimulate insulin secretion or enhance the production of leptin, hormones involved in regulating hunger and satiety, as effectively as glucose does. This diminished hormonal response may lead to increased calorie intake and weight gain over time
They also don't address the problem of HFCS being metabolized in the liver
Unlike glucose, which is metabolized by various cells in the body, fructose is primarily processed in the liver. High intake of fructose can lead to increased fat production in the liver, contributing to fatty liver disease, insulin resistance, and elevated triglyceride levels. These metabolic disturbances are associated with a higher risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
Also it is found in every junk food that you eat
HFCS is a prevalent sweetener in many processed foods and beverages, including soft drinks, candies, baked goods, and condiments. Its widespread use can make it challenging to monitor and limit intake, potentially leading to excessive consumption and associated health risks.
Conclusion-HFCS is poison full stop
