By covering I mean wearing a headscarf, loose fitting clothes that cover every part of body. Doesn't have to be Saudi style veil ( which I think is cultural , not due to religion )
Western people/ Non Muslims don't get this cause pre marital sex is allowed in society. This means every person is an open possibility. You need to show your body, look your best to compete in the dating market. Covering up obviously won't help. I think the sexual revolution has not helped majority of men, the 80/20 rule clearly shows this system produces incels/sexually frustrated individuals. As for the women, most of them either remain single and die without reproducing children after riding the cock carousel or end up being terrible mothers. But in a society where pre marital sex isn't allowed. The only means of sex is marriage. Marriage is a serious deal compared to dating cause you plan on starting a family. The last thing you want is your wife attracting the attention of some other guy and you getting cucked. This will destroy the family structure in society. I don't think I need to explain this, women initiate sexual relationship ( in open dating market) by giving IOIs and guys tend to respond most to women they find appealing. The veil reduces the appeal of a women to outsiders ( men besides her husband ).
This is the way God has intended. He understands our needs perfectly and this system is perfect. It makes sure most people gets to reproduce, countering survival of the fittest.
