Bit of a tricky situation given what is recommended

Anyone who got their skin lasered, did you discontinue Accutane before getting PDL? Recent studies suggest that it is safe for use when targeted with low doses, but most clinics will generally refuse treatment unless you are atleast 6 months clear of usage to avoid legal risks

Kind of impossible to discontinue usage personally because I'm on 600mg of Test rn (lowering to 300 soon), which is upregulating my oil gland production. Would be a waste to discontinue after my current progress... If anyone who was also on-cycle could share their experience

I have very mild but persistent and noticeable eyebrow-area acne, so I opted for only 20mg daily. If I up the dosage, it would mean I would probably have to finish my full Isotret course before considering PDL due to potential scarring, and then due to the testosterone, I would need to run a maintenance dose of iso anyways

Any recommendations? Thinking rn just to wait 6 months on current dose, run 10mg to prevent growth and then attempt PDL

I would advise against it if your skin feels dry at all, it is gonna nuke your skin barrier

If its only high IQ user im out

It’s not ideal per se, however that doesn’t make it inherently harmful. Previously studies suggested a 6-12 month wait time, but just as you said, modern studies opt for the opposite. Because older studies accounted for older laser technology, not newer ones like PDL. Never less I recommended doing a short pause from isotret before undergoing PDL, after all, it comes down to individual response. Just make sure you do more research too. :feelsokman:
