Why not wear lifts to the gym, take the lifts of when you lift (pun intended) and then put them back when youre leaving?

cuz all the people at the gym are in the area lifting weights and shit so it would be sus to come in looking taller then i really am then shrinking in height then going back up. But i did do what u say to go to pickleball court since no one really uses it

Leg extensions aren't inherently bad for knees
In fact some physios recommend it for patients recovering from some knee injuries
But there's a few caveats
1. Don't go fast
2. Don't go too heavy
3. Don't lock the knees

I'm gonna give it a go with a light weight next Saturday

Whats even the point of doing it if you dont go heavy, literally no mechanical tension you could go do cardio instead
