Partially, yes, it does as someone who has a hooked nose but their dorsal hump is high-set, by pulling slightly to imitate a better glabella, my nose does straighten to an extent

You do have a point there, yes, this may help people who's dorsal hump is not pronounced yet still gives off a hooked impression, but for most I doubt this works, thank you for correcting me

I think for it to truly look ideal you need to mainly bring the cartilage forward while shaving off the slightest bit of the nasal hump, that would clear the hooked impression
