Also, a doctor most likely won't get you on any meds if it's been just a few days of bad sleep. I think it needs to be months for them to consider meds. I could be wrong though but you can always give it a try.

I usually have started eating yoghurt and poppin a 250mg magnesium supplement pill for the past 2 weeks like an hour and half before bed and it honestly makes me sleep like a baby.

I used to roll around for an hour before I could sleep but ever since I started consuming above, it’s helped.

Good luck with a stuffy nose and sleepin, I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

Same boat here, I've had sleeping problems since 2015. But I didn't go to a doctor until around 10 days ago and he prescribed me these even though Dutch doctors are difficult to convince, but like I said before my situation's so bad that he didn't even protest the idea and gave me what I want.

TBH, I didn't think he'd prescribe me a benzo but now I can see why he was reluctant to begin with. XD

im basically always in touch with my doctor and get a 7-14day prescribiton when i really need them (like now, i got them for 2 weeks because i knew i'd have issues with school start)

hes a really nice guy and knows me basically for more than half my life. I take it daily in these timelines but can sometimes skip a day if i feel like i can go without it. i try to take them in moderation to not get dependant/addicted to them.

doesnt take long till i fall asleep, i dont really know how much time because its all blank when i wake up. i usually just take them and head to sleep immidietely, maybe takes like 10min before effects start to show

Haha my doctor's known me pretty much my entire life as well, so that's funny we have that in common as well somewhat. Moderation is absolutely key when it comes to benzos. You don't want to become dependant on them. So, what about the other questions I had?

Melatonin doesn't help with insomnia (even though many people swear that it does, they probably don't have actual insomnia I'd say?), he's on the real deal (the benzo he's using).

Wow, 10 minutes for the meds to take effect? People usually say 30min-60min. And it seems you are groggy when you wake up (feeling like shit is called grogginess, pretty sure). Some people claim they feel no side effects and I hope it's the same for me.

I wish there was something that existed that could make you fall asleep in 1 minute.

I dunno man, some people use 5 mg and it still works. I think one's history matters too, if you never used any sort of meds, 10 mg is bound to work.

And if it doesn't, I can always ask my doctor for a higher dose.
