This is going to be a quick little thread about something that gets no where near enough recognition on this site, which is hormone receptors. Example of some of these receptors are androgen receptors, IGF-1 receptors, Glucocorticoid receptors, Estrogen receptors and many more.

First off what are they?
Hormone receptors bind to specific hormones, acting like a lock for the hormone's "key" (think of it like how enzymes bind to specific substrate(as shown in the image below)). Then this binding event triggers a response within the cell.

Now how does it actually work?
First the hormone circulating in the body finds a cell with the specific receptor and binds. The binding then activates the receptor, which then starts a chain reaction inside the cell. This chain reaction leads to a specific cellular response depending on the protein.

Now why is this important?
The main reason why this is important is everyone has varying levels of hormone receptor sensitivity.

This means there isnโ€™t a one size fits all approach to the amount of pharmaceuticals used. This is what pisses me off the most about greycels is they always go for certain amount instead of a range (granted I sometimes do the same). What I mean is whenever someone asks how much test they should use on a cycle, the usual answer is 500 mg/ week. This is all well and good as a ball park range but some people only need 350 mg/ week to gain there desired physique whereas on the other side of the spectrum some people need 700 mg+/ week to gain the same physique. Another example is Dutasteride everyone usually just says youโ€™ll be fine with 0.5 mg, but for some people that dosing will do fuck all and they need 2.5 mg to see any results. What Iโ€™m trying to say here is most people lack nuance when they tell people about dosing.

yeah itโ€™s talked about not nearly enough
I think it's because it's not very useful
a little bit higher or lower dose doesn't matter too much,
both give positive result & as you said, some trial & error and you're good to go

So south Asian guys have higher sensitivity to DHT right?
 
I think it's because it's not very useful
a little bit higher or lower dose doesn't matter too much,
both give positive result & as you said, some trial & error and you're good to go

I think ur second tip is better but it depends on what coumpound we are using, for dut everyone should go for 2.5 mg whitout any questions but when it comes to other things such as reta, T4, DNP and so on, everyone needs to find their specific dosage where they feel and look their best.

This is what MPMD preached and I have no clue how he gets so much hate on here. You should definetly titrate up test to know what the optimal dosage ist for blast and also cruise

mog thread. Extremely important to get bloods. I thought I had high e2 and respond like shit to ai but the entire time I had zero estrogen in my system.
