I never tested, only have power meter pedals and a karoo 2. My mom has a big heart and was track athlete in her youth. I've always been an amateur and have been cycling regularly since around 13, I'm 30I did 4.8 in 20 minutes last time. Whats ur Vo2max?

Hopefully imma be also one, but i have pain in the knee and numbness in the hands after 1 hour cycling for the past 6 months i couldnt train properlyI never tested, only have power meter pedals and a karoo 2. Knee and hand numbness sound like bike fit, but can't really pinpoint what could that be without knowing measurements, you could experiment if you don't have any particular fit setup ATM, you're having pain anyway, does it happen in the trainer too?Hahaha my club is good. Ive been to 3 bikefitters (one of them did even a bike fit for pogacar) but at the end after so many bikefits I saw that every1 has his own way of fitting u and u cant really trust them. Thr knee pain and stuff im sure i will get away, the only thing concerning me are the hand numbness (it only happens on the vikr). I checked my nerve tunnels and they are perfect. I have appointmentwith chiropractor/fisio and maybe a nerve in my back is getting crushed and bad dor my hands or smth. I indeed have a very tight back. I needa start with stretching daily again. I wanna get undereight so bad to better W/kg. With underweight i mean as thin as possible without nerfing my hormones too much. Since im a guy i dont really care about having an anorexic body type, its not really in my inzerest but seeing hip bones n stuff is really in my interest hehehe. My teammates r a lot better than me. Im junior first year (17) and one of my teammates lowest bmi was 17.2 and he was pushing 5.8 W/kg to 6 W/kg in 20 Minutes. I wanna have a thigh gap soooo badd gang. Im kinda cooked since 170 cm - 175 cm is the perfect height for a climber and im 168 cm currently and 6 months ago my growth plates were about to close. I think its harder to get good with my height but imma not limitate my mind to that. Better be shorter than taller since the taller u get the less aerodynamic and the less thermodynamic u get. Ughhh i miss riding so muchhh. Im here and in anorexic communities to disctract myself i miss cycling so much and i dont know what to do if the chiropracter doesnt solve my hand problem cuz its pretty unpleasant riding for 3 hours with tingling hands. Yes at the end u are ur best doctor. Just with the hand thing i just dont know why. And yeah i know that im kinda in a dangerous territory with ana communities, yet my height and muscle mass r priotities to getting underweight. I currently eat enough food since i try to grow. Imma get my groeth plates checked this month but if they r closed imma go down to 15.9 (even if my nutritionist is against it hehehhehe) i just want my bones to puke out and a thigh gap. And a high zone 2. The personal trainer always used my training data to demonstrate a perfect training in the group chst. I miss cycling so much. 2 of my teammates r in training camp with uae they put out pretty good watts. Your doctors will absolutely know more than me but if I can tell you 1 thing -and you mentioned it too- and that is to not be too crazy with ur weight while growing if you really want to maximize your growth, I stopped growing height at like 19, also you can ride size 52 no? Once you get your flexibility back and finish growing I think it's a pretty good base for a climber.
Ever tried tri bars/aero bars? They're funky but they're nice for switching positions on the bike, not even for the aero. I got some carbon ones that are around 400g with the brazes and all that and help me in longer rides just to rest even tbh.
I'm 184/185cm and the lowest I ever got was 65kg but I wasn't even that strong, around 71-72 on 13-14bf %, not quite sure the bmi, but of course the closest to competing I do is Saturday single 40 year olds group rides
Dont get too overwhelmed by negative thoughts, cycling is very like life, you need to keep spinning, you'll go faster again eventually. Don't get too distracted by what can go bad and try to make the best out of each day, winter is a very bad time of the year for athletes, give yourself a rest too.Yes at the end u are ur best doctor. And the team got 9 ITT helmets, hopefully I can wear them in a race, if i get selected. My zone 2 is so low i think i wont get selected.
