How bad is my maxilla/midface ?

I always knew my midface was my weakest third. Just can’t figure out if I need implants or legit surgery. I don’t have an underbite or overbite. and the dentist always said my teeth were fine. Never had braces, only had cavities when I was young.

Still have all my wisdom teeth, all teeth meet when biting.
I attached an analysis/morph from FaceandLMS. Next time I’ll get an X-Ray for better analysis..

So far I have the following flaws:
• Eye bags
• Pseudo tear troughs
• Nasolabial lines/creases
• Slight NCT
• Flat Cheekbones

you have severe maxillary recession.
Get Lefort 1 Osteotomy asap.
since your maxillary recession is so heavy, a Lefort 2 is possible too

You need jaw surgery to fix your maxilla. Not having malocclusion makes this tricky though. Normally you would just get bimax to move both the upper and lower jaw forward, but you really shouldn't move the lower jaw any further forward or it will look very unaesthetic. And moving just the upper jaw will create malocclusion.

Talk to a maxillofacial surgeon. See what they say.

You need at least a lefort 2. Yout maxilla is recessed enough for doctors to perform lefort 2 on it so you won't have much problem finding a willing surgeon.

It honestly doesn’t make sense, lower forward chin/mandible growth but no upper ? And in every lefort case the teeth are jacked up or have severe under/overbite

some people can actually talk like that and they sound normal all without ever touching the palate, not sure how that happens but the result is a sunken maxilla. I think it's rare because it's extremely visible when talking and they probably get told to correct it at a young age most of the time

go to a maxillofacial surgeon and go through the procedure, no one will turn you down since you seem to have midface hypoplasia, you're actually a perfect candidate for it

I recommend trying to schedule a consultation with william hang if you have access to your orthodontics pictures. I have been talking to him back and forth the past 3 or 4 days and he answers a lot of questions for free.

He is also versed in orthotropics so hes not Jewish. See what he says.
