How can I be more in control of my smiling?

By smiling I mean just any facial expression that shows others that you find something funny. I have this weird thing that when I'm in a certain social situation I'll think about the probable outcomes of the situation (which I do constantly) and if this presumed outcome actually occurs, it often amuses me, sometimes even to the point of making me smile and I don't like that. The amusement is also affected by my mood but my mood is "unfortunately" pretty good most of the time. Does anyone have any solutions for something of this sort?
