How can I improve my side profile?
I’m 16 and I really don’t like how my side profile looks. My chin is slightly recessed and I feel like my jaw doesn’t have much projection either. My cheekbones also aren’t very prominent, and I feel like my facial features overall are pretty weak. I also think I have a midface.
I want to improve my nose, chin, jawline and cheekbones. I’ve heard about CCW (counter-clockwise rotation), mewing and different “bonesmaxxing” methods, but I’m not really sure what actually works, especially at my age.
Since I’m 16 and still developing, is there anything I can realistically do to improve my side profile? Are there any exercises, tongue posture, or other methods that actually work? Would it be worth seeing an orthodontist now to check if I have a recessed jaw and if there’s any treatment I could benefit from?
I’m not looking for some magic fix. I just want to know what I can realistically do to improve my facial development and make the most of my potential while I’m still growing.
