I'm not sure because I have been growing in a steady increment of 3 inches per year. My father said that when he was about 16 he hit his growth spurt and grew from 5'5 to 5'9. His mom is 4'10 and dad is 5'7. On my mothers side her father is 5'7 and mother 5'5.
