Remember, before the concept of a video game came to be known by us, life did it first. Fasting, taking supps, meditating. The dopamine you get from improvement is in itself a drug. Especially if your making decent money doing what your doing and actually have a path to improve at it.

The human body is in a constant state of motion. Decay and rebirth. Dopamine is overexxagerated here but its actually in reality very necessary for a human to function. Depression and legitimate suicide is what happens when you lack that dopamine.

So in otherwords, they dont live without it, they just change the form of it. Instead of girls, do the opposite like nofap or whatever. Instead of drugs and alcohol, go crazy with health foods. Instead of life, go deep into conspiracy/rabbithole, bible. This is why people do those things aspie-like, going into crazy detail. Thats their replacement.
