How can the palate be expanded?

I’m writing this out of desperation. What are the real methods for expanding the palate at age 16? I’ve looked into all the orthodontic options, and damn, it’s expensive—I don't have that kind of money. I really want to expand my palate; it’s the only thing I’ve been thinking about for the past month. What ways are there to expand it at 16?
My teeth are crowded, and it’s quite difficult to maintain proper mewing posture.

ur palate isnt too bad but a marpe is a godsend for you. if your over 20 get an fme it works the same but costs more

ah my fault i dnr anything other than expanding palate, you could try cope thumbpulling idk how far thatll take you though

It's a shame I don't have the money for orthodontics. And I won't be able to get that kind of money anywhere for the next few years((

I was thinking about getting a cheap removable expansion plate. But as far as I know, those are worn up to age 12. And it's unlikely the orthodontist would let me get one.
