You see in the pic below, I have a narrow palate, it’s sub 40mm (approx 34-37mm) and I was considering getting Marpe, but most of the people who have gotten palate expanders was because of health related issues like Sleep apnea, chronic mouth breathing and too crooked teeth.
But me personally I have none of those signs, I have no trouble with comfortably nose breathing 24/7, my teeth aren’t crowded and I have no health issues. Only thing that’s bothering me is the measurement of my palate, and the tongue scalloping.
I was also at the dentist asking about this, and they said my bite was perfect and there was no need for an expander but I don’t fully believe that I don’t need an expander.
