Thank u broWas struggling with my sleep for years, routine is the most important thing. Going to sleep and waking up at the same time is good for your body.
10-3-2-1-0 is a good strategy.
The 10-3-2-1-0 Breakdown:
- 10 Hours Before Bed: Cut out caffeine (coffee, soda, chocolate).
- 3 Hours Before Bed: Stop eating large meals and drinking alcohol.
- 2 Hours Before Bed: Finish all work, mentally stimulating tasks, and stressful activities.
- 1 Hour Before Bed: Power down screens (phones, tablets, computers, TVs) due to blue light interference.
- 0 Times: Resist hitting the snooze button in the morning to maintain a consistent wake-up time.
I personally also find reading 1 hour before helps.
