How come kid can be so dark?

I was checking Instagram, and there is this WMAF couple.

The guy has blond hair, blue eyes, and white skin. Similar coloring as @Anstrum95

The girl, who has Chinese genes, has yellowish-white skin, not dark. It's not even yellowish-skin, it's quite white.

Yet the kid is dark as fuck. Not black tier dark but very dark-skinned Asian. Brown. Wtf? Maybe the skin gets lighter as the kid gets older.

Kids are lighter skinned with more euro typical features such as light eyes and get darker and ethnic features show up more as you get to adulthood.

usually the opposite happens, babies are born pretty pale with lighter features (hair, eyes, etc) and gets darker as they age

the kid either goes outside a lot or is a bastard child. check if the kid has a nigga/jungle gook nose or any other features like that
