Now, whether or not even they’re lying, I don’t know, but I’d say the chances that some smart people aren’t lying are higher than a magical man that lives in the sky. Or any of the other 1000 religions. It’s all about the % chance of it being true for me. In a way I’m agnostic but just 99.9% confident in science. Despite my doubt I’d love for Christianity to be true, however it’s just too unlikely for me

Assertions what ur saying doesnt matter unless u justfy it. TAG is easy too refute. Tag assumes many things about a atheistic conception of what the laws of logic are for the argument too work, but you could be referring too differnet arguments when you refer too TAG, divine conceptualism, logic needing a metaphysical grounding, induction / regulairty of nature problem, metaethical challenges, TAG can mean many things but you sound like a TAG / presuppostional proponent.

If you do actually have an open mind, let's start with the question underneath all of this: Why does anything exist at all? so im a thomist which basically means, i follow and have the exact same ideology as thomas aquinas. And im not sure you understand this but, Thomism and catholicism is not we just don't understand X, therefore God. That's a caricature. The argument is that things in the world don't possess the explanation for their existence simply by being the kinds of things they are. Things receive existence, they dont explain why they exist in the first place. And if you say, "the universe just exists," you've stopped giving an explanation and simply declared the question answered. (so just try not to use a adhominem for a second ) i do have a question for you tho. Can you give a coherent metaphysical account of why contingent things exist at all, without grounding them in something whose existence is not received from another?

Because evne if we grant the PSR, if only physical particulars need a explanation, why cant there be a infinite regress?
So you need too say the infinite regress itself needs a explanation outside of itself, or else, the option of a infinite regress remains.
But, the infinite regress is not one physical particular. It is a category, which many particulars fall under. So now you need too justify that categories need metaphyscial explanations. How will you do that?
