How could I offset the collagen loss from oral minoxidil?

I'm gonna be taking oral minoxidil for my diffuse thinning. It's supposed to be the single most effective hair growth stimulant currently available. In the meantime I'm also going to be experimenting with low-dose (1ml in the beginning) oral castor oil as well.
