How did being bullied effect you mentally? And have you recovered from it?

I remember I was bullied heavily in highschool. Now that I think about it, it was because of my height and I was easy to pick on. I don’t understand why my parents knew about this and didn’t give me hgh or whatever. I was always met by the «they are the once that have a problem» type of mentality:/
