How did Mekhi Lucky get hollow cheeks even with low set cheekbones?

Did he get it simply from getting extremely lean?

they are literally not visible in 99% of his pictures.

First off, he is ~5-10% leaner in the after pic. People vastly underestimate how much fat they're holding onto.

Second, he has direct overhead lighting in the second picture where he is leaner. You cannot see those hollow cheeks in natural lighting.

I'm pretty sure hollow cheeks are more about forward cheekbone projection and lateral mass. Height just determines how high the cheek hollows begin.
