How did you get an xray?

For anyone who got an xray of their skull/face, what did you say to your doctor to request it? Or did you simply go to an xray imaging company? I'm not sure if in North America you can just ask for an xray, any ideas on how to get one? Thanks

You can directly book an appointment no need for a referral. Once you see the orthodontist you can then ask for a referral to see a maxillofacial surgeon.
