How did you guys have the motivation to go to the gym?

I have severe social anxiety and im a total freak. Just walking out in public is like torture. Going to the gym will be even worse especially when my body and frame is skinny asf. I know I'm a little pussy bitch but I honestly need some tips and tricks with this shit. What did you guys do to finally go fuck it and just go to the gym? 😢

I'm thinking of hiring a personal trainer for a while maybe - next year.

Try propanolol, its cheap and safe if you dont have low blood pressure

Looking in the mirror and seeing stagnation or possibly even worse progress in your body is a good motivator to go and actually do something about it.

I also find progressing in the gym (whether it be muscle size or strength) and watching lifting youtubers who I admire makes me motivated to push hard to achieve my goals.

For the socially anxious bit, I'd say fuck it. You only live once man, you shouldn't be caring about what some other gymcels think about you. Are you gonna let all these strangers live rent free in your brain forever, or are you going to actually do something about it.

Try to find a gym that's privately or family managed and avoid the large chain gyms. They usually have much less meatheads and gymthots. The gym I go to rarely has more than 5 people in it at any given time. It's awesome !

adidas short or pants
a nice normie shirt

When i first started i was a 60kg fag that couldnt even bench press with weights on the bar. Now im currently 72kg seeing great gains, just go out and dont give a fuck, also if you're natty take creatine and protein powder.

I have had a home gym for many years, even so motivation is hard. I find I will blast some loud music and do some bodyweight exercise like pushups/pullups and it will give me a kind of instant mindset change to continue into a workout. But if I'm sitting at a desk the prospect of getting under a squat bar is unappealing.

Go and talk woth elder people you will find any of them interesting and maybe you can go to "socialise" even a "Hello" and lift is progress

Join a 24h fitness and go late at night, or buy a power rack olympic bar and some plates and lift at home
 
I hate being skinny so badly that I'm willing to go to the gym to get mogged by wide framed Tyrones. Just do it. If anything just go in the time there is barely anybody.

I'm skinny and weak too. Only time you will be talking to people is when they ask you when are you done with current equipment set. Just go man.
