How do i convince my parents to eat healthier.

The food my parent make me right now are not that nutrition dense and have a low proteine count but they are convinced that its healthy because allot of other people eat like it. I know that you might say that i can make my own food but i cant because im broke. I already explained them allot about the importance about proteine intake and the importance of nutrition but they just say that it isnt as important and they just ignore it. When i send them studies about like red meat being healthy, then they send me a studie from some no name source that says it causes cancer.

They will always try to feed you lies I am with the same issue if your worried about just getting taller and developing more facial bones just run gear

I feel bad for you guys, I never realized some parents care that much about what you eat :unsure: My mom buys me four pounds of beef every time we go grocery shopping.

Your only option is to steal clothes and alcohol and sell them or get a job

They have created this habit because its easier for them that way, so what you can do is: Buy cookbooks (with healthy recipes) and give it to them, Buy healthier Ingredients, Send them tiktoks and Insta reels of Healthy Food and Recipes, Engage yourself and get involved in kitchen, make it FUN

yeah i feel you. most people just eat what they’re used to and think it’s healthy cuz “everyone does it.” trying to explain macros or nutrient density to them just goes over their head, and once you mention studies they get defensive. not worth the energy.

if you can’t cook your own stuff right now, just do what you can—add eggs, canned tuna, beans, even powdered milk if it’s around. low-budget options still help. don’t stress proving a point, just focus on getting what you need quietly. once you’re in a better spot, you’ll take full control. til then, adapt and you can still make progress
