How do I convince my parents to get me a palatal expander

So, my parents are willing to get me braces and other stuff for my face, but are skeptical about palatal expanders like marpe because most orthodontists near us don't offer it and only offer tooth borne expanders, and the only ones who offer it are like a 4 hour drive. How do I convince them? Also I don't wanna say it's for my face since they don't believe in "looks matter." 🫩, still love them tho.

My intermolar width is 35mm or less (im pretty sure this is narrow), I also have trouble breathing when laying down and I have bruxism, tmj and an open bite. Unlike my brother who grew up not eating goyslop , he has perfect teeth and has not needed any orthodontic procedures in his life.

So do I get it or no. Cause I also have trouble sleeping, I wake up randomly from time to time, this has been going on for a year now. I'm almost 16 in 2 months
