How do I dry long (straight) hair?

So I used to buzz my hair all the time because I was too lazy to style it, but now I'm growing it out and the biggest issue I have is drying it because I don't want to damage it, do I towel dry? Air dry? Cold dry? A bit of everything? I honestly don't know, there are different YouTubers and Reddit threads with differing advice but I thought I'd ask here because I've left the house with my hair wet a couple times already

just air dry it possibly gently patting on the very back to avoid it dripping down ur neck, can you mark me as solution
