yeah thats basically what i did with my mum, took a while but she did agree to gib me some, but the thing is i dont live with my biological dad, we sometimes talk over the phone and rarely see each other since he lives few hours away, so getting him to understand is a bit harder
yeah, I guess probably start with getting your mom fully on board, then maybe she could help you with convincing your dad. also if you have family issues and stuff like that you could probably work that into the argument as a guilt trip.
