Wdym reading a book, you read books for studying? But usually what i do, as an example, if my current biology subject is on like neurology, then i write down the things i need to know about. This will be
1. Nervous system
2. Model of a neuron
3. Brain physiology
4. Action potentials
Then i study each one of those and divide them into more specific concepts so for the nervous system, i can divide that into:
Parasympathetic system
Sympathetic system
Peripheral system
Central nervous system
Then i will study each one of those individually and write down everything about each one. Once i've got some quality notes, if i need to prepare for a test i put all of my notes into chatgpt, then i have chatgpt quiz me on each one of those subjects.
Chat will then ask me for example, "Which part of the nervous system is responsible for pain experience"
And then i'll say "Well pain experience begins in the peripheral nervous system and travels to the CNS and activates action potentials in the brain".
Eventually i'll remember all of this through quizzing myself. And then i've studied effectively.
Decent strategy that i've had success with in school, but obviously this varies from subject to subject. The most important part of studying, is having a clear goal in mind of "What do i need to know"

Yea we got course books in here and i get what ur strategy is but i cant even focus and read a paragraph it fucking hurts, the problem isnt about study material or strategy the problem is that my retention and focus span is cooked and so are my dopamine receptors
