How do I not come off like a retard during a consult with a surgeon? Ramieri

I have a consult with Ramieri in a few months and I'm stressed im gonna come off like an retard from here and he'll try to persuade me not to get surgery or something or say no because he doesn't like spergs from this site.

What do you usually start with? Does he look at your photos or CT scan and then squint at the webcam to see how subhuman you are? Does he ask you what changes you want? Should I send him morphs? People have got bimax with Pags and talked about how he was chill and discussed lots in the consult and Pags just told me to get braces for decomp and said bye without talking about any surgery. Who has actually talked to Rams and what advise do you suggest

Fuck I better learn how to understand my CT scan and be able to talk to Ramieri about the exact measurements I need then. Is there a guide on how to DIY cephalometric analysis on here?
 
U can try webceph app but its not 100% reliable. My ortho said it makes mistakes mapping reference points. U can also try running ur ceph/cbct through various AIs just so u can get a general picture
 
I mean without decomped teeth and ct scan no one will talk about plans with you. They dont even see you as a potential candidate then, more then that they might contact your ortho for the decomp fast as hell

like let's say for example with random numbers lets say I need to move my maxilla 10mm forward with 3 degrees CCW rotation and mandible 24mm forward and 5mm genioplasty

How much is braces going to even change that? He can still talk about which surgical movements right?

I'm still fucked trying to find an orthodontist in Australia who is prepard to even see me. I've called random places and asked if they work with overseas surgeons and ALL OF THEM say no. Worst case scenario I have to fly to fucking Italy to go get braces with whoever orthodontist Ramieri likes working with
 
Is Ramieri against this forum? Cause my ortho is friends with him and they worked together in the past. Hence, I thought he could even get me a discount.

If you’re a random young 20-something he will almost immediately know what’s up

Just accept it’s gonna be cringe and awkward. You are certainly not the first and won’t be the last so it’s okay

Keep it as NT as possible, no lingo, no hyper specific autistic analysis

You send in your scans before the consult then he’ll load it up and rotate it around etc during. Can click and drag it at points to manipulate it to show rough example movements and soft tissue changes

Say your general aesthetic goals then he’ll tell you what he thinks is adequate for your case

He’s open to somewhat specific requests but again only if he thinks it’s beneficial and that you are a reasonable human and won’t rage or sperg out

I wonder if the few plastic surgeons we talk about know what's causing this influx. Eppley knows jfl. Eppley has known since Lookism days. They must be like, wow, business has been booming since 2023.

When I first consulted Ram first words outta his mouth after exchanging pleasantries was “So… what brings you to me?” and lowk had a slight shit eating grin :lul:

Idk perhaps I’m projecting some paranoia into the memory but I refuse to watch the consult recording again I would die of cringe I only refer to the ai notes now for reference :forcedsmile:

I will probably be contacting Ramieri through my orthodontist, with whom he already has 2 cases done for mainly functional issues. Btw, I have severe asymmetry: jaw deviation to the right, maxillary cant (left side is lower than the right), plus orbital dystopia (can't be fixed by trimax, will, get orbital floor implant for this).
Do you think if I do it through my ortho, he would charge less?

Did you end up getting surgery with him?
 
I expect at this point whenever Ram sees his patient is male and between the ages of 20-29 he just knows the autism is coming. Don't worry about it

Can you DM me with his ortho. If Ramieri agrees to operate on me and I can't find an orthodontist in australia for decomp maybe I can email your guy to ask if he will work with some rando patient from Australia.

everyone talks about not sending morphs but the first thing a surgeon himself sent me in response to my email was a morph lmao

Last year in summer, BSSO/Genioplasty in Croatia was €4k, around New Year 4.5k and last time I visited 4.9k

Never had problem sending them morph if he gets nervous means he's scared and can't guarantee result you want
