I just did some research, bha is salicylic acid. aspirin is basically all salicylic acid so I just made some paste from aspirin and applied Should get the same results

Just makes your skin shed and gets rid of acne. I would go with salicylic acid, bha/aha, clay and facial masks for this issue.

It is, but it does little for pore size

It depends. If you remove the blackheads with a blackhead remover and they come back within a few days then they aren't really blackheads- they are sebaceous filaments and there isn't a whole lot you can do (in my experience) to get rid of them permanently. Possibly some form of CO2 laser to try to shrink the pores but that is just guesswork.

If they are actual blackheads then exfoliation will probably work.
