and when ever I’m quiet I don’t talk enough

I can’t get out of the cycle I need therapy

Exposure therapy, force yourself to talk to people.

Have a hard time with not over sharing too bhai. Look up small talk subjects and ask about certain shows. Of course warm up before so that you can get used to it

try your best to look approachable, make sure u don’t have a resting bitch face, engage in conversations but don’t stay hooked onto them for too long NTs absolutely hate this (learned this the hard way) the only way to get good at talking to people is practice, if it’s a girl u wanna talk to js go up and talk to her and make sure not to say anything creepy and talk to her normally as if she’s a little shy also (which she is), women love to talk about themselves so if you can get them to do that your golden. genuinely the worst that could happen if you act normal and larp NT is that she says no.

i was talking about with girls but something nds tend to is almost lock onto a conversation for too long, i wouldn’t think abt it as give much attention but be casual and try to just let the conversation flow

Years of isolation/bullied led to me having lacking confidence and social skills

I start to look better and go to the gym and the bullying goes away but im still isolating myself from others

I already have adhd and im 90 percent sure Ive developed autism from basically not having any friends for all of elementary/start of hs

pls spread positivity and give good advice on this forum

being casual is hard I usually do everything so suddenly and with like no flow to my words

Autism is not something you just develop, in your case it probably wouldn’t be too hard to get back social skills but in real cases of autism there is literally no hope
