marpe is prescribed for nasal airway obstruction, obstructive sleep apnea or severe transverse maxillary deficiency, which you most likely don't have. if you don't experience difficulty breathing through your nose, mouth breathing at night, snoring, waking up dry-mouthed, nor a high, narrow palate, it's very very unlikely you'd ever get your ortho to say yes to marpe

headgear is designed for 7-10 year olds btw and at age 16 or later headgear wont do much, the posts showing otherwise are mostly larp where they just did surgery for it and say it was a result by headgear

well then I'd wait until your 19, then get a hand xray to see if ur growth plates are still open, and if they are, wait a year, do a hand xray again and if they're still not fully fused, do a hand xray at 21 and then they're most likely fused
