I know im pretty privileged to be saying this but literally how do people believe in a religion, especially Christianity? i live in a pretty red (republican) state in the US so alot of people at my school are christian. and after debating them, it feels like they dont even know why they believe in it themselves jfl. like it just takes some critical thinking to just completely dismantle the logic behind Christianity and religion itself but people are iqlets and wont resort to actually using their brains. it doesnt take that smart of a person to realize the religion is just psyop to explain the absurdity of our existence. i just dont believe how many people actually truly believe in a god when so much science and evidence of our evolution exists.

Its like the bell curve meme, you got the first quartile saying „God is real brah“ 2 & 3rd quartile saying „How can you believe in that“ and the 4th saying „God is real“ again. You‘ve just been debating the first type of christian.

maybe ill view the world differently once im older, but i just feel like the 4th quartile only says that because theyre close to death and they dont want to believe in a permanent nonexistence

Maybe bro, but I believe Catholic Christianity is the closest thing we get today to the Primordial Energy that is harder to access today than it ever was in the history of mankind.

They all need to die honestly
Idiots who believe things without justification are always tools of violence

i find the idea of "heaven" and "hell" no where near believable as a whole.

really? thats quite interesting, how do you end up believing in catholicism?
I explored alot of religions at 14 and tried to live by their principles. I read some buddhist and norse texts, I read the quran, the bible etc. I never found any real connection until one night I prayed to Jesus Christ and was filled with a warmth I hadn‘t felt in years. Thats when I almost already knew, thats when I started reading the bible and becoming more and more interested.

that sounds amazing, as much as i dont really believe in religion, i always wished i felt a connection to a higher being/god, how did your family react?

My father was supportive and my mother took some convincing, but my dad actually converted with me 2 years later so yeah, pretty well i‘d say
