How do people have the motivation to study or work?

How do they not kill themselves? I was thinking about those Asian animators who are underpaid and work a LOT. How do they do that shit? I don't even think they have a partner or family

Sometimes I am amazed by the things this world has to offer, but then I also know I won't be allowed to experience most of them and ALSO I'll have to waste my life working. It's weird to think about it, past generations did it because they had a future, I don't see that in many of us

the things the world has to offer are at most remixes of the limited materials present in the sandbox. prefabs of rocks, energy, etc. or perhaps, you could look into the chinese if they have their own version that surely deviates from your local version and is somehow your local version at the same time. or africa to see the primitive ones for the supposed lols. the motivation comes from progress, and if progress is deemed a hamster wheel/rat race then it comes from balance/acceptance or some kind of zen concept. It doesn't matter, I forgot. The thing is that balance is a sort of gimmicky type of progress where the dopamine hits come from playing tally with spreadsheet values. addictions/wrongdoings/things to improve/materialism/racism vs virtues/peace/me-time/spirituallity/contact with nature/love/self growth. you document the steps and your journey to balance/a promised land by endless game patches of +1 / -1. to this day, there's no better system. lack of sex isn't really the problem since you can pay for it anywhere. lack of lore to self insert into is the main one, and humanity takes care of it by spamming the same logic-driven bs all the time.

oh well, don't demerit our fellow hominids. Since the conception of language/abstraction they've built a massive amount of lore to self insert into, and in the last decades, it powerscaled/fragmented into web browsers and this very place with all it's incel themes thingies and such. it's not like you could escape from belonging to some sort of human logic generated structured spam once you learned language.

studying takes alot of time, like ik you have alot of time in a day but to spend time which is valuable on lazerfocusing on one task when you could be grinding vidya and fps shooters, i get tired easier studying then vidya, so its a easy choice for u
